![]() It didn't affect gameplay/performance of teams at all. It made us all jittery, messed up our comms and stuff so we never took it again." Basically it was his way of explaining people why were their comms and stuff were so bad.Įveryone made a huge deal back then so ESL introduced "drug tests" in tournaments which after a while became a joke and no one has been caught ever. He explained those as "We heard adderall was good, tried it. Also they bombed out of that tournament hard so it made it more hilarious. Semphis talking over people, N0thing forgetting smokes and asking for lineup in game, "EXITING B! EXITING B" incident. So everyone was making of fun C9 comms because it was hectic. Back then ESL used to release team comms to public. Semphis was the one who first said they took adderall once. Shroud, Semphis,Sean,N0thing and Hiko/Shazam. You realize this was way back, during 2015 right? So if you know something else that drug testers doesn't, please contact ESL, Valve or whatever to make sure justice is done. However the tests from ESL show that isn't the case. If they are using it they will and should use it in actual events to make it work otherwise it is stupid. It doesn't make any sense for any CS player to use performance enhancing drug during practice and not use it in actual game. It doesn't make any sense for body builders to use performance enhancing anything as they aren't performing but showing bodies. ![]() We are talking about PERFORMANCE ENHANCING drugs here bud. Their events aren't them performing but just showing their bodies. So they are always competing as long as they identify as body builders and participate in events. Nothing ever came up.Īlso your analogy doesn't make much sense considering body builders are competing during buildup for their bodies. ![]() I understand that I may be trying to sound like a badass or whatever, cuz I hate when people unaccustomed talk about taking stimulants as they make it out like it’s mdma or something, I’m just offering my experience.Īll ESL events after ESL Katowice 2015 was drug tested. I was taking near double the allowed and quitting was fairly easy for me. It’s interesting to hear that you and the other user replying described quitting as the worst time in your life. Also I quit taking dexies with no struggle at all. The downsides to taking the dexies was anxiety, but I don’t really see why adderall and rit are compared to steroids in a physical sport. Mirtazapine gave me back my appetite and put me to sleep. My psych prescribed me mirtazapine to counteract the side effects. Maximum legally allowed to be taken per day for someone my age and weight was 6, but I was taking about 10 a day. I was and still am prescribed dextroamphetamine (basically the strongest stimulant for adhd). There's plenty of things in life to do that aren't videogames, but you only get one body to experience those things with, don't fuck it up. Right? It really is a lose-lose situation in the end. You'll just fall back to the rank you were so it would be pointless. Now what do you do once you are in this higher rank of players, do you just use drugs every time you play? Well that would fuck you up proper. You start popping addy or whatever while playing CS, you get good (unlikely but hey, lets say you do). It will fuck you more than it helps you in the long term if you abuse it like that. It might sound cool "Oh yeah! I can stay laser focused and improve on my games/classes" or whatever, but if you don't have an actual fucking reason to be taking it, you'd best not. I honestly found it easier to quit smoking than I did Ritalin. Coming off of the Ritalin was one of the worst experiences of my life, I've learned to deal with ADHD in a variety of ways since then that do not include drugs but man. For me (Ritalin when I was younger for ADHD) it also made me lose a ton of weight to the point where doctors pretty much said there's no way they could continue to prescribe it to me. Ritalin/Addy both will make you dependent on them. I think most people that think it would be a good idea have never actually been on the drugs.
